Meet the Team

Stanley P. Stephenson, Managing Principal

Dr. Stephenson is the founder of Litigation Economics, LLC, (2003) and a nationally recognized forensic economist with wide experience in civil litigation involving loss of earnings, intellectual property infringement losses, and business interruption matters. He now provides these services to Stephenson-Economics, LLC clients. His background includes a professorship at the Pennsylvania State University, executive at Aetna-International, Inc., senior manager at a consulting firm in New York City, and San Francisco Regional Commissioner, Bureau of Labor Statistics. He is the author of several books and articles related to his forensic economics work.

David A. Macpherson, Ph.D., E.M. Stevens Distinguished Professor of Economics, Trinity University

Dr. Macpherson has provided economic litigation services in more than 50 cases. He has provided estimates of economic damages in cases involving breach of contract, personal injury, wrongful death, and employment-related claims. In addition, he has provided analysis for several cases that involved statistical sampling issues.
